I thought the PageRank craze was over… but unfortunately, it’s not! People thought that there were strange things happening to PR (like Google blocking PR queries). Some people even thought that Google is making a new system! Why? Because PR checkers were displaying PR N/A or PR0 for well-known sites like Google itself!

PR N/A

There’s even a person who thinks that Google’s stocks are going down ’cause of the PR glitch!

“Watch Google stock fall for the past few days. -$80 in 2 days is crazy for investors. If Google does not bring PR back in 2 days (when stock market is closed) Monday is going to sound like hell for Google guys when market opens at 8am. Believe it or not, there is a reason for that! Google is finally giving up.”

Oh well… I guess people just can’t get over it. But don’t worry, it seems that only mass PR checkers are having problems. DigPageRank is working fine for me, the PR info that it gives is accurate.

P.S. Can’t get enough of PR? I found the best thread ever about PageRank.

Yes, people get really wound up about PR. Until my site (all of 2 weeks old today) grows it’s not a biggie for me.

Question: you referenced DigPageRank which I’d never heard of. I checked out their site and see that they offer a tool called “digiXMAS SEO.” Do you have any experience with it?

PageRank is starting to make me sick, really. But I’ll be honest: seeing my PageRank go up with the recent update from Google has motivated me to blog harder, write more content, and really put more effort into growing my websites. So it’s stupid to say that PageRank is useless. If anything, it can help motivate people.

That and it feels really good to see a higher-than-expected rank on your website.

    Don’t deny it, it’s true.
