Crap, My ISP Went Down…

Posted by Mike | Filed under Miscellaneous

Oh Crap! I’m SO Sorry!

Ugh… so… I suppose that you clearly remember my promise last time (I told you that I will publish a post on Nov. 20 for not doing so on Nov. 18.) Well… if you don’t, here’s a quote from my last post:

“P.S. Watch out for the next post, I promise to publish something tomorrow!”

Ermm… I wasn’t able to keep that promise, but I have a valid reason. My ISP went down unexpectedly, so I wasn’t able to give you guys an article yesterday. I’m really sorry about that!

No internet yesterday!

To make it up to you guys, here’s a list of things that I did yesterday… and I hope this list can help you be productive even if you’re ISP is down.

10 Things to Do When Your ISP is Down

1. Organize your things. I know many people have said this over and over again, but… this is really a great thing to do! Since you’re not being “disturbed” by the internet, you have the time to fix your stuff and organize your desk so that your place will look tidy and proper.

2. Find your misplaced stuff. This is kind of connected to the first one. Have you ever misplaced something but had no time to find it because you had a lot of things to do online? Well, now is your chance! Look for your misplaced things before your ISP goes back to normal!

3. Finish your homeworks/assigned tasks. Guess what? It’s the perfect time to finish all your assignments. Do it NOW before you forget all about it later. Honestly, I forgot to do one of my homeworks so… MY ENGLISH TEACHER WEIRDLY STARED AT ME! Oh great, now that was scary. I wouldn’t want to be reprimanded in class… never!

4. Write a list of things to do when your ISP is down. Yeah, make something just like this. Then you could probably post in on your blog or share it with others through a forum once you can be online again.

5. Exercise. You may lift some weights, run a few meters or maybe jog around your village. Your choice. By exercising, you can feel well and be fit. Even if you’re used to looking at your monitor for hours, your body still needs some stretching to be healthy!

6. Shop for necessities. Is your fridge empty? Is your printer out of ink? It’s time to be in a shopping frenzy! Shop now, while you have the time to do so.

7. Clean up your desktop. Remove unnecessary shortcuts, change your wallpaper to have a new and fresh look for your desktop. A clean desktop usually helps people get their work done easily.

8. Check your computer for viruses. Run your virus scanner to see if your computer is infected by threatening diseases trojans or viruses. Your PC must be safe especially if you have confidential stuff in there!

9. Play Minesweeper. Yep, it might be a boring game for some but I find it entertaining. I played Minesweeper for like 30 minutes yesterday. Don’t like this game? Then go and play whatever you want. Duh.

10. Go outside and get some fresh air. I bet most of you don’t find the time to do this… Now go there, watch the clouds and inhale some really fresh air. Remember, a healthy internet marketer is a wealthy internet marketer (Now where did that come from?)!

    Here’s another one:

-Call an old friend. Sure, we’ve all made buddies in cyberspace but what about your real friends? The ones you’ve known for years that always support you? Give them a call just to say hi.

I was wondering what happened to the blog. I was on vacation and looking forward to reading something new.

This post makes up for the missing post, however. Great stuff, as always.
