Did I Just Lose Half of My Subscribers?!

Posted by Mike | Filed under Blogging

Hi guys, it seems that I lost around half of my subscribers. I just came home from school and I was surprised to see that my FeedBurner subscriber count had a decrease of almost 50%! I wasn’t really that shocked though, since I noticed that the subscribers using Google Feedfetcher weren’t counted. Yikes! Seems like Google forgot to include their own ‘thing’ in the list. :D

Google Feedfether missing!

Speaking of FeedBurner, AdToll has recently released a new feature that shows your blog’s feed count on your account area and your rate card. It seems that AdToll just gets better and better, so if you haven’t signed up yet, you’re missing a lot of money making opportunities! Sign-up for AdToll now!

Setting the FeedBurner issue aside, I’ll be posting the next part of Blog Cash Hunt later or maybe tomorrow. Watch out for some posts, too. I might publish something after I take a shower… and after I study a bit. Darn, I really need to review my notes for the math contest. It’s tomorrow already! Wish me luck, guys.

I am so glad that I found your post. As soon as I saw my Feedburner number this morning I have been desperately searching for another blogger experiencing this problem. I thought that my readers all of a sudden hated me.

Feedburner subscriber counts fluctuate. Even Google themselves “test” out stuff once in every while…
