All-in-One SEO Pack
This can help you in editing your blog’s title, description and other things which are related to SEO. A must use plug-in.

Share This
A plug-in by Alex King, this can help in getting more exposure for your blog (and more visitors… and backlinks… and better search engine rankings…).

Similar Posts
This is a plug-in which displays posts which are related to the current post being displayed. This will increase the visibility of your posts.

Sitemap Generator
This is a plug-in from Dagon Design. As you may know, sitemaps can be a guide for search engines in crawling your site’s pages, so this sitemap generator is something that you will need if you want the search engines to improve their crawling.

Statistics
FeedStats

This is just a simple plug-in which shows you your feeds’ statistics.

StatPress
It is a plug-in which tracks the blog visits and other stats. It’s really useful if you want to know your visitors’ IPs and what browser they’re using.

This cool plug-in allows your readers to submit your articles to several social bookmarking and social news sites. :)

Top Commentators Widget

A plug-in which allows you to put interactive polls in your sidebar or posts. A really useful thing especially if you want to know your readers’ tastes!

WP-PostRatings
If you want to know how good your writing skills are and how captivating your articles are, be sure to use this plug-in! It allows your readers to rate your individual posts. :)

A plug-in which allows you to rotate banner and text ads. A really great one!

AdSense Deluxe
This plug-in which enables you to quickly add AdSense units to your blog posts.

AdSense Earnings Plug-in
A neat plug-in which shows your daily AdSense earnings… a great tool if you really want to take a loot at your $$$ every minute.

WP-Amazon
A nice plug-in for Amazon associates out there. This allows you to search Amazon as you write your posts.

Feed Management
FeedBurner Feedsmith
This plug-in redirects all your WordPress feeds to your FeedBurner feed so that you can track your subscribers.

    Nice list, I think I’m going to give StatPress a try. I was using StatTraq but he was compatible with some of my plugins when I upgraded to WP2.3

    Great list I use most of these on all new blogs I install for my clients.

    Here is another for those of us that are constantly testing new plugins and themes. This plugin allows you to install them right from the WP dashboard:

    WP Contact Form III works well with Firefox, yet the challenge field doesn’t align with the text input box for IE6.

    R.J. I think these plug-ins only work for self-hosted WP blogs. WordPress.com blogs are so restricted. :mrgreen:

    i m definetely gonna use the Contact Form III, the one i m using currently is very complicated, and the one you are using is very clean and also it has an antispam challagne question.
