My First Office!

Posted by Mike | Filed under Work From Home

Sorry for the LONG delay in writing! I’ve finally done it and got an office to seperate my business from home life. I’ve always had a spare room as an office, but now I have taken to leap and rented out some office space. I hope to finally have a lot of time to devote to TW3O!

First, no office would be complete with desks. Two large desks came with the office space. Here is a shot of my desk.

I spung for an expensive chair since I will be sitting on it for 8 hours a day! I out together a nice coffee bar and fridge for the early morning and late evenings.

I picked up a free couch from my brother.

That’s my office where I will be running my internet businesses and blogging on TW3O.com.

I was just wondering if in the Office we are required to have a first aider? Its an Office so its low risk but are there any laws stating that there must be a first aid certified person in the office?

    hi,
great look for your office.I’m a web developer and am in need of a more professional atmosphere than my home office to actually get my work done.

What tips do you have for a person who is looking to rent his first office space? I’m not looking to spend over $600/mo and am in need of basically space and a decent internet connection. What should I look out for? What warnings do you have? What type of agreements do I have to live up to (regarding leases and such)?

I’m in the North Dallas area if that applies at all.

Your chair looks comfortable. My current chair is nice, but I think you are right when you splurge for a nice chair when you will be sitting in it for 8 hours. I will have to look into a nice one and not the one I have now which I found next to the trash can outside.

Thats a great way to reduce overhead. I also use a home office in Atlanta for my auto glass repair business. It’s functional and works well!
