Seriously, Do You REALLY Make Money Online?!
Posted by Mike | Filed under Internet Marketing, Make Money OnlineHey. Good morning y’all. I just woke up and was just a bit pissed with two e-mails that I received. Two different people sent me e-mails offering me some stupid stuff which they claim to help me make thousands of money online. Now, these are two different people. It just happened that I received their mails on the same day, and that pissed me off more!
Here is the first e-mail that I received. It was from “Dennis”, who apparently didn’t have a last name. Talk about “professionalism”. Just by reading his e-mail, you can probably say that he doesn’t make thousands of dollars online.
To “The WWW Observer”, www.tw3o.com:
Hello. I have read your blog and I can say that your blog has the potential to make $1,000 to $5,000 per week. I know the figures are overwhelming, but I can teach you to make the figures immediately.
Listen. I have forty websites that make me tens of thousands of dollars per WEEK. Yes, per week! Don’t get me wrong — I do NOT spend hours on developing them, going on meetings, meeting with other professionals. I sit back and relax. Money literally pours down like water from a faucet!
I’ve been teaching people how to do this with my simple method. I have a report about this that I sell for $299, but as a special offer, I will give it to you for only $49. That is $250 off, and if you buy now, I will give you a special bonus: A video report on how I created forty sites which make me $15,000+ per WEEK.
If you would like to buy my report NOW for $49, click here (link removed) and you will get immediate access to it after paying securely via PayPal or your credit card.
Thank you and hope to see you on top,
Dennis
Well? Have you figured it out yet? Uhh… it’s like this. He’s selling a report for $49. Not just your “average report” though. He claims that his report will teach me how to make thousands per month, but he’s selling it for a small sum of $49. Oh puh-leeze. Come on. At least make it more realistic man. If a person makes thousands of dollars per month, he wouldn’t sell a report for less than fifty bucks! Heck, he wouldn’t even tell anyone about his “secret”!
To “Mr. Dennis”: Seriously, do you REALLY make money online?!
Here the other one that I received this morning. This guy claims that he’s an internet marketer and that he is an experienced person in the web hosting industry.
Hello,
My name is Collin Gray and I am a full-time internet marketer and web hosting provider. I saw your blog post about “Web Hosting: Not for rookies” and I was wondering if you and I could be partners. We shall create a web hosting service and we can both profit from it. I have a 2-year experience in the web hosting business. I have made over $1,000 per month by offering web hosting solutions.
We can offer our customers cheap hosting to be paid via PayPal, Moneybookers, AlertPay and other payment processors. We shall do this because other hosts only offer CC/PayPal, and a lot of people don’t have CC’s or PayPal accounts. Yes! A lot of people do not have Credit Cards and that truly saddens my heart because in this digital empowered world, credit cards are a must. But now, they can have a part of the web with our web hosting package.
We will offer different web hosting packages: FREE hosting with our AdSense ads and PAID hosting which costs money, of course, they can pay with different processors as I stated above.
However, as this offer may sound good to you, we should only use one account per payment processor, and we will use yours, so you will be guaranteed to make money. You can send me your payment processor account log-ins and we can get started with this joint venture.
This partnership will benefit the both of us. We can make around $10,000 or even more with our new web hosting solutions. Please reply to my e-mail if you are interested. I am looking forward to your positive response.
Regards,
Collin Gray
Internet Marketer and Web Hosting Consultant
Okay. A wanna-be partner who didn’t even greet me with “Hi Jug” or something like that. He just said “hello” and went on with his dramatic letter. I actually literally laughed at his statement “Yes! A lot of people do not have Credit Cards and that truly saddens my heart because in this digital empowered world, credit cards are a must.”
Anyway, his e-mail clearly proves that he doesn’t make any money online. Although he claims that he made over $1,000 by providing web hosting services, why in the world would he need my PayPal log-in information?
Heh, you wanna steal my hard-earned money, Mr. Collin? No, no, no. I’m so sorry but you have to work. Instead of composing e-mails like this (which suck, IMO), why don’t you try to think of innovative ideas?
To “Mr. Collin Gray” : Seriously, do you REALLY make money online?!
I think this is the second time that a person asked for my PayPal log-in details via e-mail.
I believe that I posted about the other one on this blog as well.
I hope you guys won’t give in to offers like these. I’m almost 100% sure that they’re absolute crap. I definitely need a break from all these! Your thoughts?

Hey I came across your post on DP and decided to read the blog , anyways yeah I get these sort of emails all the time… but honestly if anyone wanted to do business with me, id want to know more about them… someone magically providing a quick fix alternative when it hasn’t even been asked for is heavily suspicious… most people who share their secrets for online success won’t put a price tag on it… all the information that i’ve personally shared on my own blog is free of course, but it is just an accumulation of things that I surely can find out about anywhere else on the net… most money-making secrets are simple : Hard Work.
great post buddy.
Thanks for leaving a comment man.
Hard work really is the secret to make money.
Nice post. I think those 2 are reading this post right now. I think they’re subscribers as well, and they’re being embarrassed right now!
Apart from showing that they are not making any money online, they are showing that they are desperate as well.
Guys, I have a make money blogging report that can help you boost your blog income to $1000 a day, yes, a day! The best part is that you will only need your current blog!!
Hey Jug!
I’ve totally got an awesome way for you to make money online! All it takes it no effort or time whatsoever! I just need your credit card number!
Yeeaaah. I am both shocked at how these people think some of us are that gullible…and shocked that maybe, some where out there, some one is actually taking them seriously.
Great post
elf_fu: Oh cool! 123456789 is my CC number.
Geesh, seriously the scammers aren’t making it look realistic.
Hey Jug why you reveal my CC number to other and claim that it’s your
Sometime I just don’t understand why there are some people like to scam. You can’t say they are lazy, NO, some of them are actually working hard to scam other! I wonder why don’t they just apply their intelligence and efforts in the legal way…Damn it, is making money legally so hard?
I’ve gotten lots of these…I find it ironic they never tell you what their websites are that are cashing in on all this money
I would like these kind of emails be caught by antispam. But this is just a so fullish open cheating. When I read the article, it reminded me of an history where one said to the other ‘You know very well that I know very well that you are lying.’
Cheers!
Hey! I got the first one, but it was signed by someone else. I didn’t get the second one. I’m crushed. Guess I will have to make my e-mail adress more bot friendly.
Chelle: Yeah, at least show us one site that makes $1,000.
Robert: LOL. Lucky you, you don’t get mails which ask for your PayPal info.
Banago: They weren’t caught by my spam thingy because they were sent via this blog’s contact form. I’m assuming that the two are readers of this blog.
Ms. Fitness: They sure are hardworking, but it makes me wonder too. Why work hard to scam people? It’s just not right.
You should of heard the two emails I got. First, some forien agency claims I won the lottery and asks for all my personal details. Now personally, I never play the lottery. I won’t fall for that one. Next!
The second one claimed to be a widow who wants to to send me trust funds to invest in return for a percentage. Now what? Are they trying to revert to compassion to steal our bank accounts? Pleeese!
It can be hard to make money online.
But don’t give up !
If it is too good to be true - then it probably is. You also nee to do your reasearch to fine out what works.
I get a lot of spam pitching all kinds of get rich and money making lies as well. It’s frustrating because they are looking for a quick buck while we work as normal people do.
Now not all marketers are created equal, and I take a little offense with a grain of salt though about the reports selling for less than $50 to be worth anything I have bought and sold, and written reports for far less than that to people which have learned from them and fixed the niche issues which the report or eBook was for.
I do not mail people that have not opted into my list and they come and go as time goes by as well. I would never contact a random site as a marketer and do something as stated in your post. Instead I would watch the blog’s popularity and try to see how I could make your job easier, if I couldnt I wouldnt bother. I have no respect for spammers. And you can ask anyone on my lists any problems they have I take care of personally Im always available through messengers even while mobie, and my skype is public as well.
Basicly I agree with you, cold sales to random website is lame especially if it was not personal contact instead of a cheesy sales letter from a crappy copy writer. BUT I know I have sold reports and Ebooks and definately some software and scripts for far far less than $50 that have a hugely positive impact on the way people interact with their customers, and their own software.
Juggler, I wander what should I call them, smaming-readers or reading-spammers
WOW I am not sure what is scarier the emails themselves or the people who actually give them their Paypal info etc. Thank YOU for bringing this to peoples attention.
Expect Miracles…

Personally, I gave up making money online before I started. But a post on Online Observations talks about this guy who is literally asking people to donate to him and it’s working for him:
http://www.onlineobservations.net/heres-a-cool-idea-to-make-money/
Yes donation works, (I never tried this personally but my friend told me it work) you’d be surprised how many people will pay for the information you dish out. But don’t simply ask for donation if you can’t provide some meaningful contents. There’s no free lunch mate
Its another way of spamming tactics i guess. Jug, i used to received these kind of email, some even mentioned, that their company want to advertised on my website and willing to pay million, but first you must do this and do that, the part of pay million is one statement while do this and do that is lots about it.. i don’t think it is what they mentioned is willing to advertise but to do this and to that….

R.J.: Now those are the ultimate spam/scam mails. I don’t get them anymore, but I used to and I was certainly annoyed with them.
Bob: Yep, research. And think before you give in to their traps. Like when you receive e-mails saying you won the lottery, when in fact you haven’t even bought a ticket, then you should consider that e-mail as a scam.
Bill: Sure is frustrating. Argh!!!
Big Ben Patton: Wow, that sure is nice of you to sell reports that are worth it for cheap! AFAIK, there are only very few people like you…
Banago: I don’t know, but one thing’s for sure — they’re readers, and they’re scammers. And spammers too. xD
Shane: No prob mate.
Vaibhav: Yeah, donations work but not always. Don’t expect donations if you provide crappy stuff.
Ms. Fitness: Yeah lol. No free lunch, as they say.
David: Yes, I receive e-mails like those too. They’re usually lengthy e-mails, so I ignore them.
[…] have to brainstorm anymore. You can just write about what made you so exasperated! Like this one… This post was published because I was annoyed. So […]
