Top 3 AdSense Alternatives
Posted by Mike | Filed under AdSense, CPC, CPMHave you just clicked your own ads and hoped to get that big check soon? Or maybe you told your relatives that you have a site and mentioned that you earn by serving ads… and they helped you by clicking the ads? Well, here are my top 3 AdSense alternatives, together with reviews.
Note: I will not include Yahoo! Publisher Network (YPN) since it is currently in beta and only accepts publishers from the United States.
1. AdEngage
Publisher income: 75%
Payment: PayPal/Check
Description: AdEngage is an advertising network which allows publishers to serve customers’ ads by either running RON (Run of Network) ads or sponsored ads. RON ads are cost-per-click (CPC) ads, which means that each click will earn the publisher some money. Sponsored ads are ads which are purchased by customers and will be on the ad pool for a certain time.
My review: I have been running AdEngage ads on two of my sites and I can say that I’m happy with AdEngage. The RON ads are getting hits, which gives me around $0.04 per click. I have also sold a number of sponsored ads, which boosted my income. AdEngage pays on time, and they notify the publishers whenever problems occur and they resolve them pretty quickly.
2. BidClix
Publisher income: ??
Payment: Check
Description: BidClix lets advertisers bid on ad spaces of publishers. With over 11,000 advertisers, they claim that a publisher’s inventory will always be sold out.
From BidClix’s website:
Imagine the effect that would have on your business - your inventory would be 100% sold and always sold to the highest bidder. That’s what the BidClix advertising marketplace brings you.
My review: BidClix is a good AdSense alternative since it serves targeted ads and since advertisers bid on your ad space, you always get the most out of that space. The support team of BidClix is also excellent, they answer my queries within 24-48 hours.
3. AdBrite
Publisher income: ??
Payment: Check
Description: AdBrite, the internet’s ad marketplace, is a place to buy and sell ad spaces. They have different ad formats, which are text ads, banner ads and interestitials. They let the publishers have full control over the bought ads, but not really on the network ads.
My review: They pay on time, but the support is just so-so. Well, at least AdBrite has the potential and beats most of the smaller networks in terms of payment and income.

Sine they are alternatives i guess they don;t work together with Adsense? Kind of a dumb question but i just wanted to be sure.
On the other hand, 0.04 bucks for every click on AdEngage is very very little, a lot less then my Adsense average income is. With a CTR of 3% let’s say, you’ll need 800+ visitors for a click. Kind of low ay?
I used AdEngage for long and even reached the payout, but they are not paying any money. In fact they deleted my earnings and asked me to start a fresh account. I didn’t use any trick to increase earnings. So, i stopped using it.
I have adsense in my blog. I track all clicks using mybloglog… now the problem is mybloglog tells me that I have more clicks than the one reported in my adsense account… could it be that google is not tracking correctly all my clicks?
Is adengage better than adsense? Please help
thanks
Adil, I got paid a lot of times.
AdEngage isn’t contextual, your earnings highly depend on your ad sales.
Ok now I am working with Cpx Interactive see whether they pay or not.
Hi,
I have been using auctionads on one of my sites for about a month now.
The beauty of this is you can use auction ads on pages with adsense on it
I wonder what your thoughts are on Auctionads
