Web Hosting Search: Find the Perfect Web Host
Posted by Mike | Filed under Other Reviews, Web HostingHey there guys, how are you and your websites going? Alive and kicking? That’s great! What? Your website is down again? Aww… sorry to hear that. I bet you want to switch web hosts now, eh? Err… let’s see. I’ve got my Big Book of Web Hosting Thingies here and I’ve got just the thing for your huge problem. Wait, lemme flip through the pages of this… book. Ah, found it — Web Hosting Search!
Before I tell you what I more about the site (including my opinions), here’s what the guys over at Web Hosting Search can say about themselves:
“We’re a group of professional webmasters who have had enough of all the lousy and half-hearted web hosting providers out there. So, we considered creating a site that would give credit to the reliable hosts and warn of the lesser ones, to sort the good from the bad.”
They hate crappy web hosts as much as you do, so you can rely on them on the web hosting review part.
Read on to know more about their site.
Web Hosting Search is an established web hosting review site which features professional reviews for dedicated servers, UNIX hosting, and cheap web hosting. Lots of people have trusted the site’s reviews and had no regrets.
I checked their site out and I can say that the reviews are comprehensive and straight to the point. The reviews aren’t biased unlike some of the web host haters’ and the “I want to make money with web host affiliate programs” guys’ reviews. The reviews are full of detail that you don’t have to go to other sites just to find the information that you need. Here’s a screen shot of one of Web Hosting Search’s review pages to further support my statement that “they’ve got it all for you”:

Pretty neat and informative, huh? You can see the price and the features of the host. The rating of Web Hosting Search can also be found there. I believe that this review site can help you choose the perfect web host! Wait… since there is no such thing as a perfect web host, let me say that again. I believe that this review site can help you choose the ALMOST perfect web host!
Try reading the reviews on that site before you buy a web hosting package. You will certainly be guided by them. To the people who are planning to switch hosts… Good luck, and hopefully you will experience an excellent customer service. Remember, read reviews first before buying a hosting package!

Interesting article. I used a well known hosting company in the UK for a couple of years and they were great. Then they got taken over but retained the branding. That’s when things began to go downhill so badly that I had to get the lawyers on them!
Now I’m with another host and they seem pretty good, despite the odd glitch in their servers - good tech support which is nice these days. Nice to have someone on the other end of the phone.
My best source of hosting reviews are from friends.
Usually I let my friends be a ‘guinea pig’ in terms of trying out hosting from a web host, before I get hosting from it.
Canvas Art Man: Which host are you with right now?
Multippt: Wow, you’re lucky that you have friends who are willing to be guinea pigs.
I don’t.
The best host I’ve used and still using is Epsilon Web Design. It is really cheap in return to what the give you.
Reading reviews first before investing on anything is not only a good idea but an excellent business sense.
Selecting a hosting company is also dependent on your present and future requirement both as when you grow in your business, the host provider should have capability to manage your site well and not prompt you to start looking for alternate option particularly after reaching at that stage.
I agree with the first comment. I think a friend’s recommendations are vital and, like in real life, effective. If someone tells you that a certain restaurant isn’t up to par, why would you try it? And vice versa. I chose my hosting provider via a recommendation from John Chow. I use Blue Fur, and it’s been phenomenal so far. Either way, I recommend people use whatever works for them. But don’t be afraid of doing some investigating. This post was very informative.
